I spoke at the PATA seminar held during the Tourism EXPO Japan 2026 event.

Recently, our Chief Consultant, Assefa Temesgan, participated as a panelist in a Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) seminar held during Tourism EXPO Japan 2026. PATA Chairman Henry Oh also spoke at the seminar.

During the panel discussion, Temesgan highlighted the Asia-Pacific region’s growing presence in the tourism market and introduced PATA’s unique role as a bridge connecting diverse stakeholders in the tourism sector, including travel agencies, lodging facilities, tourist attractions, DMOs, and transportation operators.

The discussion also touched on PATA’s initiatives focused on developing the next generation of tourism professionals. The venue was filled with students studying tourism who are actively participating in PATA activities, as well as young professionals just starting their careers in the tourism industry, making it a valuable opportunity to reaffirm the importance of nurturing the next generation of talent who will shape the future of the tourism industry.
