The average planned travel expenditure (per person) is expected to rise compared to last year, driven by higher prices due to inflation and the popularity of distant destinations such as Hokkaido and Okinawa.
While there is a desire to visit Instagrammable spots, the desire to disconnect from smartphones and computers and relax both mentally and physically is particularly pronounced among people in their 20s and 30s.
In addition to "couples' trips," "solo travel" is also on the rise, particularly among men. - Travel AbroadThe number of travelers is expected to significantly exceed last year’s figure, driven by a recovery in airline seat capacity, a stabilization in the yen’s depreciation compared to last year, and strong travel demand
Average planned travel expenses (per person) are expected to rise due to continued high inflation, the weak yen trend, and an increasing tendency to travel to distant destinations.
Travel to Europe, the Americas, and Oceania is on the rise. Short-term trips to neighboring regions such as Asia also remain popular.
Travel smart by choosing destinations less affected by the weak yen and avoiding peak travel periods.
