He specializes in supporting research, analysis, planning, and consensus-building for projects involving content development that leverages a region’s unique resources—including nature, history, and culture—as well as tourism-oriented urban development and the establishment of sustainable implementation frameworks.

経歴

He graduated from the Department of International Law, Faculty of Law, Seinan Gakuin University in 2000 and joined JTB Corporation. He was engaged in planning domestic and international group tours, government-sponsored study tours, regional revitalization initiatives for local governments, and the development of destination-based travel products. Since assuming his current position in April 2019, he has been involved in the development of destination-based programs centered on “Healthcare and Well-being” and “Adventure Travel,” as well as planning for sustainable tourism-oriented community development. In recent years, he has also participated in projects aimed at enhancing the value of nature- and culture-based experiential tourism, particularly in national parks.

Contract for the Organization of the 2025 Nagasaki "Island" Business Challenge FY

Supporting the organization and operation of a business idea contest (known as "Shima Challenge 2025") aimed at revitalizing remote island communities in Nagasaki Prefecture and addressing local challenges. Our primary focus is on soliciting business ideas from the islands, providing support for refining those ideas, and fostering community building among individuals, businesses, mentors, and experienced entrepreneurs both on and off the islands, with the goal of creating an environment that helps people better understand the islands.

FY 2025 Towada-Hachimantai National Park (Lake Towada Area) Interpretation Promotion Project

The goal is to promote interpretation in the Lake Towada region by exploring ways to incorporate the unique charm and value of Lake Towada into products and services for visitors, as well as through internal branding initiatives for local stakeholders.

Reiwa 7 FY: Nikko National Park Enjoyment Project—Formulation of the Next Step-Up Program and Related Tasks

Regarding the initiatives of the “Enjoy Nikko National Park” Project, we summarized the achievements and progress of the Step-Up Program 2025 and, through repeated consultations with stakeholders, formulated the next Step-Up Program 2030. We established quantitative and qualitative goals and evaluation metrics, and clarified future policies aimed at strengthening collaboration between the local community and businesses and enhancing the value of the national park.

FY 2025 Project to Establish an Adventure Travel Reception System Centered on the Tokunoshima World Heritage Center

An initiative to establish an infrastructure for hosting adventure travel (AT) with the Tokunoshima World Heritage Center as its base. Through collaboration with local businesses and experts, we refined tours that allow visitors to experience stories unique to Tokunoshima and developed new content.

FY 2025 Minamata Onsen Promotion Project

In preparation for the launch of the "Sports × Hot Springs" recovery program—which combines Minamata’s hot spring resources with sports—we expanded the program’s content, conducted test tours, and explored ways to establish a sales infrastructure. Based on expert advice, we developed a model plan designed to enhance the program’s value for physical and mental recovery.
