Graduated from the Department of Social Engineering, Third Cluster, at the University of Tsukuba in 1998. After studying urban planning in college, he worked at a private consulting firm, where he was involved in a wide range of tasks, including the formulation of administrative plans and the planning and coordination of development projects, gaining experience with numerous project methodologies. To promote regional revitalization through wide-area collaboration that leverages local resources, he is involved in a broad spectrum of planning and production for revitalization projects, including the formulation and implementation of revitalization visions and regional promotion strategies, as well as project coordination.

Project to Promote Tourism in the Anori District

While continuing to operate the workshop launched in FY 2023, we provided support for the implementation of community-led events and other initiatives. Furthermore, we assisted in the establishment of a community revitalization group, drafted business plans and project proposals, and provided support for the group’s certification as a “Navigation Marker Partner Organization.”

Research Project on Building a New Japanese Tourism Brand Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic

To promote the development of a "safe and secure" tourism brand—a key requirement for the future—we conducted a survey of tourist destinations that are implementing innovative initiatives, including Yamanashi Prefecture, Toyooka City in Hyogo Prefecture, Kesennuma City in Miyagi Prefecture, Myoko City in Niigata Prefecture, Nasushiobara City in Tochigi Prefecture, Beppu City in Oita Prefecture, Gero City in Gifu Prefecture, and Okinawa Prefecture. Based on this research, we have formulated proposals regarding the roles these destinations should play.

As part of efforts to promote the early adoption of the "Yamanashi Green Zone Initiative"—which aims to revitalize the prefecture's tourism industry—we conducted a total of 20 seminars for accommodation providers on infection control measures and tourism strategies for the "with COVID-19" era.

Survey on Live Entertainment and Ticket Sales for International Tourists in Japan

This project aims to promote live entertainment in Japan by investigating the current status of foreign visitors attending domestic performances and the reception of foreign visitors overseas. Based on an understanding of the live entertainment experiences and challenges faced by visitors to Japan, the project will formulate measures that the Tokyo Metropolitan Government should implement in the future.

FY 2017 Study on Methods for Revitalizing the Peninsula and Establishing the Peninsula Brand

This project involves collaborating with Atomi University and Toyo University to conduct an Instagram-based “treasure hunt” survey of the peninsula region to highlight its appeal and attract younger audiences, followed by an event in the city center to share the region’s charms—as identified through the survey—with city residents.
