He graduated from the Sociology Program, Faculty of Letters, the University of Tokyo, in 2020 and joined JTB Tourism Research & Consulting in April of the same year. Since then, he has been engaged in consulting projects involving quantitative and qualitative research and analysis related to tourism, regional development, and sustainable tourism, as well as the collection and analysis of tourism-related open data. Certified Social Researcher.

Project to Support the Creation of Model Regions for Sustainable Farm Stay Programs

We solicited and selected “Farm Stay Model Regions” with the aim of creating farm stay areas capable of sustainable business operations. We promoted these five model regions to the media while providing ongoing support to help them refine their programs through matchmaking with partner companies and experts. The results were compiled into a “Farm Stay Knowledge Compendium.”

Evaluation Analysis and Market Trend Survey for the Development of the Yurihonjo City Tourism Promotion Plan

Prior to the revision of Yurihonjo City’s tourism promotion plan, we conducted a survey on trends among consumers and local stakeholders, as well as visitor data based on location information. In addition, we made proposals regarding the direction of infrastructure development, including an assessment of the business viability of roadside stations and measures to strengthen the organizational structure of the tourism association.

FY 2024 Kyushu Regional Agricultural Administration Bureau Farm Stay Promotion Project

To promote the new appeal of agritourism in Kyushu, we visited agritourism destinations across the region’s prefectures and produced promotional videos. We also planned and organized the “Kyushu Shin-Agritourism Retreat and Networking Event,” which brought together over 100 agritourism stakeholders, ranging from veterans to young professionals.
