Drawing on her experience in policy formulation and implementation at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, she conducts research and other activities based on in-depth analysis of national and local government policies and guidelines.

経歴

In March 2008, she graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at Kitasato University and became a licensed veterinarian. In April of the same year, she joined the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. Since then, she has gained practical experience in animal quarantine related to the import and export of animals and livestock products at locations such as Moji Port and Kansai International Airport. While stationed in Kasumigaseki, she was responsible for strengthening animal quarantine measures, conducting bilateral negotiations to expand exports of Japanese livestock products, and negotiating the removal of import restrictions on Japanese food products that lacked scientific basis. In April 2022, she enrolled at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS). Majoring in International Cooperation, she conducted research on the background of trends in awareness of the SDGs in Japan. In March of the following year, she earned a Master of Policy Studies. In March 2024, she obtained certification as a National Licensed Interpreter-Guide (English). She has held her current position since May 2025.
